No need to worry anymore if you’re gonna miss your train and you have a ticket reserved. Indian Railways have given a solution to this.
The railways have now brought up an option of transferring your reserved ticket to another person or your family member.
Chief Reservation Supervisor has the access to change the name of the passenger having a seat or berth reserved in his name,” says a statement released by the Indian railways.
All you have to do is to make a request before 24 hours of the scheduled departure of the train and can transfer it any other person.
The railways have made the categorization under many zones and one can avail it depending on the category you come in.
