AP Budget presented by Yanamala Ramakrishnudu

The Andhra Pradesh Budget session started on 5th March will be continued till 28th of this month.

Finance Minister of AP, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has presented the Budget in the Assembly session on Thursday morning.

The focus of the Budget presented was on the welfare of people with Rs.1, 19, 063, 61 crores for the financial year 2018-19.

Finance Minister has proposed Revenue Expenditure at 1, 5,271.99 crore rupees and capital expenditure of 28,678.49 crore rupees.

The revenue expenditure has been increased by 19.35% and the capital expenditure is increased by 30.60% compared to the 2017-18 fiscal year.

2018-19 Budget has an overall increase of around 21.69%.

As the budget presented is the last budget of the government before the elections, priority has been to the welfare schemes mostly.

In the pre-budget meetings the FM has asked the officials to come up with new schemes for reaching every family in the state.

The Finance minister assured that the budget is going to satisfy all people of the state and would make them happy.
