Mamata Banerjee supports CM 12 hour fast

Mamata Banerjee chief minister of West Bengal has extended her support towards the 12 long hour fast taken up by Nara Chandrababu Naidu Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. 

She tweeted, "We extend support to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu @ncbn, for his one-day Hunger Strike for the 5 crore people of Andhra Pradesh #CBNFast4Justice". 

Mamata Banerjee hass always supported the cause of Andhra Pradesh and has been extending her support in every of the AP state’s protests against the injustice meted out by the BJP party at the centre. 

The protest is in regard to centre’s indifferent attitude towards the state. Naidu launched the 'Dharma Porata Deeksha' hunger strike at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada. The fast, which began at 7 a.m., will conclude at 7 p.m. 
Many TD party leaders have joined the fast along with CM today.

State ministers Kala Venkat Rao, D. Umamaheswara Rao, Nara Lokesh, Kollu Ravindra, MPs and state legislators and leaders participated in the massive programme.

The chief minister, who turned 69 on Friday, chose not to celebrate his birthday and sat on a fast instead and has completed it successfully.
