Happy Cities Summit inaugurated by CM Chandrababu Naidu

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated the Happy Cities Summit in Amravati here on Tuesday.
Happy Cities Summit: Amravati 2018” - the first of an annual global event on urban innovation and best practices for emerging cities.
The Happy Cities Summit Amaravati-2018 is aimed at showcasing the strength of Andhra Pradesh to the world.
Speaking at the event CM said that the purpose of conducting the happy Cities Summit is to discuss and adopt urban solutions and innovations, particularly those relevant for new and emerging cities centered on the principle of happiness.
CM thanked the farmers of the capital who have given their lands for the construction of the capital city. He added that it is only because of the farmers, delegates from all over the world are gathered here today  
CM said that "Amravati is aiming at 50 % green cover everywhere and also plans to convert all the public and private transport to electric vehicles".
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has graced the event with his presence and many other dignitaries were present at the event.
IGBC Chairman, Dr. Prem C Jain, presented IGBC Green City Platinum Rating Award to Praja Rajadhani during the Happy Cities Summit 2018, today.
