CM to mount pressure on centre

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that he will be visiting New Delhi to mount pressure on the centre on various issues concerning AP.

CM has held a Teleconference with his party MPs and strategy committee on Monday evening and said that his visit to New Delhi is for the welfare of the state and not for political gains.

He said that he will be meeting the floor leaders of all parties in the Central Hall of the Parliament and that he would explain them about the injustice meted to Andhra Pradesh.

CM appealed the national media to highlight the injustice done to the state instead of concentrating on political motives.

Chief Minister also added that YSRCP is afraid of elections and that is why the party is speaking of resignations on the last day of Parliament session.

CM said that he would fight for the welfare of the state and that it is the responsibility of the centre to hold the hand of AP until it is fully recovered by fulfilling the assurances made in the AP Reorganisation Act.
