Chandrababu Naidu to observe fast on April 20th

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced that he is going to observe day-long fast on his birthday as a protest against the Centre’s policy towards the state.

Naidu was speaking at a meeting organized to celebrate the 127th birth anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar at inavolu village.

"April 20 is my birthday. On that day, I will observe a fast from morning to evening on the state's problems and the centre's policy. I will register my protest against the centre on this," Naidu said.

Naidu acclaimed the TD party’s strength adding that the party would once again emerge as the "king-maker" and decide who formed the next government at the Centre and who would become the Prime Minister.

Mr. Naidu has said that TD party has shown its might over New Delhi in the past, we would also show it in the future dictate terms to New Delhi. For making this possible TDP chief has asked for people’s cooperation by supporting TDP to win all 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

TDP supremo added that he would continue to fight for the state’s rights without bowing to the centre’s rude nature.

The Chief Minister unveiled the design of the proposed Ambedkar Smriti Vanam (memorial garden) that would come upon a 20-acre site at a cost of Rs 100 crore in Amravati.
