TDP to exit BJP Today

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu who has been saying that he would continue the friendship with NDA even though his MPs have resigned from Modi Cabinet has now finally decided to exit the alliance.

The TD party is about to announce its exit on Friday, and then back the YSRCPs no-trust motion against the centre.

TD leaders are going to meet tomorrow and are going to announce the exit from the long-time ally BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

TD party has finally made the decision to fight for the state by backing the no-confidence motion moved in parliament today by Jagan Reddy's YSR Congress.

Naidu has taken the decision in lieu of the Centre’s negligence towards the state and for not granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh which has been promised during bifurcation.
Apart from this Pawan Kalyan directly targeting the TDP chief and the TD party and also accusing Mr. Naidu's son Nara Lokesh, who is a minister in Andhra Pradesh, of corruption, added to the spark.

The decision taken by Naidu is necessary. He was left with no other option. If the action is not taken right away, a view would have been gone into the public that Naidu has surely struck a deal with the BJP, agreeing to a special financial package instead of insisting on special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
