Jaitley assures Special Package to the state:

Owing to the protests and demands by the state parties centre has agreed to give a special package to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Arun Jaitley, Union Finance Minister assured to give a special package for the state and four of the demands among the 19 demands of TDP.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley made the announcement on Monday late hours after a meeting with TDP delegation.

The meeting was led by Union Minister YS Chowdary and state Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnnudu and BJP president Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in North Block. 

Apart from the commitment of special package, assurances were given for the formation of a railway zone, the establishment of a greenfield crude oil refinery and petrochemical complex in Kakinada and a steel plant in Kadapa district. 
However, the definite time for fulfilling the assurances was not made. But they could be made before the Budget session ends on April 6th. 
Accepting the assurances made by the Centre is yet to be accepted by the state government.
