Family Entertainment Centre to come up in Vizag

GVMC is all set to enter into agreement for developing family entertainment centre.

The state government has given its nod to the GVMC to go ahead with the project on its land of 2.7 acres under land lease-cum-development model.

The project would be a 33-year lease with a payment of 4284 crore as an annual lease rent for its first year. The project implementation would be monitored by GVMC for the entire lease period and the land ownership vests with GVMC itself.

The Family Entertainment Complex would be comprised of meetings, incentives, conferencing and exhibitions, I-Max and multiplex.

A government order has been issued by Municipal Administration and Urban Department stating that, in addition to the minimum development obligation as referred in the RFP, the developer shall build a three-star hotel having a minimum of 150 rooms constructed over a period of time on the basis of market demand.

A MoU has been signed between the developers of FEC and AP Tourism in the partnership meet held in 2015.

A DPR has been submitted by the developer which was approved by the state government and a land was allocated near the officer quarters near Sampath Vinayak temple road.
