Black badges are worn in protest

The state assembly has seen black badges worn by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other MLAs.

The badges were worn in protest against the Narendra Modi government at Centre. The mark of protest was over the demand of special status for Andhra Pradesh.

In the all-party meeting that is convened yesterday the decision was taken to take wear black badges.

He also said that "No compromise on state interests, there would be any stepping back on protecting people's rights".
Speaking through teleconference with TD party MPs CBN said that he is willing to bear any insult for the sake of people and the state.

CBN also fetid over centers way of counter-attacking instead of doing justice to the state.

 Naidu also demanded that the Centre must fulfill 19 aspects of AP Reorganisation Act and assurances made in Rajya Sabha including Special Category Status.

He added that it is the fight concerning 5 crore people of Andhra Pradesh. He said that it is linked to the sentiments of AP people.
