AP Govt Plans to Establish Telugu Academy in Tamil Nadu

The state government is about to set up a Telugu Academy and Cultural Centre in Tamil Nadu. 

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has assured to set up the academy on the request of Linguistic Minority Forum of Tamil Nadu representatives of the organization called on him at the Interim Government Complex in Velagapudi on Saturday. 

To encourage the Telugu people residing in the TamilNadu state, the state government has decided to set up the two institutions in TN.

The organization is also appealing that the TN government should allow the students of Telugu Community to write their exams in mother-tongue. 

The organization members are anticipating that the TN government can be convinced by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for allowing the Telugu students in that state to study and write the exams in Telugu. 

On the regard, CM has assured the members that he would do whatever he could for the Telugu people living in Tamil Nadu.

CM also directed the officials to take up the necessary steps for establishing the Telugu Academy and Cultural Centre in Tamil Nadu.
