4 Cyberabads in Andhra Pradesh

IT and Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh replying to a calling attention motion in the legislative assembly on Friday said that the state government is dedicated to making 4 Cyberabads in the state.

He said the government in ardent on transforming Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, Tirupati, and Anantapur into Cyberabad IT enclave in Hyderabad.
He added that the idea of making IT enclaves have had a good beginning by achieving some Fortune 500 companies in the IT & ITES sector.

Mr.Lokesh said the idea is to create 1 lakh jobs in IT and double the number in electronics manufacturing over the next couple of years.  

He further added that the Integrated Innovation and Designed Technology Parks have been so good that search for more space like the facilities at Medha Towers near Vijayawada is going on.

He said that the government had to persuade the IT companies to set up their centers in AP, which could have gone to set up their markets in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai.

It is because of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his robust policy framework that the companies are establishing their markets in AP cities, he added.
